My practice is rooted in a rare and delicate art form, real leaf painting, where nature itself becomes both the canvas and the collaborator. Each artwork begins with authentic leaves, which are patiently dried for over a year and carefully treated to preserve them from decay. Only after this long process of preservation do they come alive again, hand-painted and set against richly textured, dual-toned backgrounds that lend depth, vibrancy, and permanence.
What makes these works truly singular is their impossibility of repetition. No two leaves in the world share the same shape, veins, or natural story, which means every painting is an unrepeatable original. My role as an artist is not to alter that individuality, but to honor and elevate it, bringing together nature’s quiet design with my own brushstrokes in a dialogue that can never be recreated.
This fusion of patience, preservation, and artistic expression turns what is fragile and fleeting into something timeless. Each painting carries with it a sense of resilience, positivity, and individuality—qualities that mirror the human spirit.
